What few beginners realise: the Self, Wealth and Career palaces sit in an exact trine with one another, meaning they always shine on each other and must be read as a set of three, never apart. Grasping this is the key to reading money and career.

Position and the Self–Wealth–Career trine

In the ring of twelve, the Wealth and Career palaces stand evenly spaced from the Self palace to form an equilateral triangle: Self, Wealth, Career. By the triangle-and-square principle, the stars at each vertex of this triangle "contribute" to the other two. So a sparse Wealth palace can still be good if a bright Self and Career shine in; conversely a Wealth palace full of fine stars but a weak Self means money arrives yet is hard to keep.
